Among the releases arriving around September 18–20 are The Mummy, The India Story, Tara & Akash: Love Beyond Realms, Lust Stories 3, MobLand and India Ke Top 1%.

For viewers deciding what to watch this weekend, the September 14–20 OTT window has a mix of Hindi content, South Indian films, international movies, returning series and reality or game-show programming.

What new movies and shows are on OTT this week?

Several new titles have arrived or are scheduled to arrive between September 14 and September 20, 2026. The exact availability can vary by country and platform, so viewers in India should check the respective streaming service before watching.

Recent weekly OTT guides list The Mummy, The India Story, Tara & Akash: Love Beyond Realms and MobLand among JioHotstar's September releases, while Lust Stories 3 and The Scandal are among the week's Netflix additions.

What new movies are on JioHotstar?

JioHotstar has several new titles in its September 2026 catalogue. Its official “New on JioHotstar” section currently highlights Lee Cronin's The Mummy, Tara & Akash: Love Beyond Realms, The Invitation, Noryang: Deadly Sea and other new or recently added content.

The Mummy is one of the prominent movie additions for the weekend. The September schedule also includes The India Story, a Hindi drama-thriller, and Tara & Akash: Love Beyond Realms, a Hindi romantic drama.

What is The Mummy on JioHotstar?

Lee Cronin's The Mummy is an international horror film that arrived on JioHotstar during the September 14–20 release window. It is one of the new movie options for viewers looking for horror rather than drama or romance.

What is trending on Hotstar right now?

The current JioHotstar catalogue includes a mixture of newly released movies and returning series. MobLand, starring Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Paddy Considine, returned with its second season on September 18.

Other notable titles currently appearing in JioHotstar's September schedule include Tulsa King, Bigg Boss, The Court and Prince of Mollywood.

Rather than treating a single “top 10” list as an official ranking, it is more useful to separate new releases from titles that are already trending or returning with new episodes.

What are the latest OTT releases today?

For September 19, 2026, one of the newly arriving JioHotstar titles is India Ke Top 1%, a Hindi quiz and game show hosted by Anil Kapoor. The show brings 100 contestants into a competition focused on logic, reasoning and common sense.

The weekend also comes immediately after Friday's large batch of releases, making September 19 a particularly busy day for viewers looking for something new to stream.

What are the top new movies to watch this weekend?

There isn't a single official industry-wide “top 5” or “top 10” ranking across all OTT services. Instead, viewers can choose from several prominent releases depending on genre and language.

The list is a genre-based guide, not a quality ranking. Release schedules and availability can also change after publication.

What are the latest South Indian OTT releases?

South Indian content is also part of this week's streaming lineup. Recent release guides highlight Irumudi, Thudakkam, Idi Mazha Kaattu, Modha Rathri and Angikaaram among the South Indian titles associated with the September 18 OTT window.

This gives viewers looking specifically for Malayalam, Tamil or Telugu content several options alongside the larger Hindi and international releases.

What should you watch on Hotstar this weekend?

If you prefer a movie, The Mummy, The India Story and Tara & Akash: Love Beyond Realms are among the recent JioHotstar additions. For series viewers, MobLand and returning titles in the September schedule provide longer-form options.

Viewers looking for something different can also check India Ke Top 1%, which begins streaming on JioHotstar on September 19.

What are the latest Netflix releases this week?

Netflix's September 14–20 lineup includes Lust Stories 3 and The Scandal, among other new additions. Lust Stories 3 arrived on September 18, while The Scandal is part of the week's Korean drama releases.

The week's OTT lineup therefore extends beyond JioHotstar, with Netflix continuing to add new Indian and international content.

Where can you watch the latest OTT releases?

The main platforms to check this week include JioHotstar and Netflix, alongside Prime Video and other Indian streaming services. Because OTT catalogues can change and some titles may have different regional availability, the platform's own listing should be treated as the final check before publication or viewing.
