The Vvaan release-date timeline
| Update | Date |
|---|---|
| Earlier reported release | May 15, 2026 |
| Later announced release | August 28, 2026 |
| Current theatrical release | September 25, 2026 |
The changing dates are worth noting because older search results can still show the previous May or August dates. The September 25, 2026 date is the latest announced theatrical date.
What are Tamannaah Bhatia's upcoming movies?
As of September 2026, Tamannaah Bhatia's upcoming or recently announced projects include The Vvaan, Ragini 3, V. Shantaram and Ranger. Some projects have different reported release years, so their dates should be treated separately from officially confirmed theatrical releases.
| Movie | Status / reported release |
|---|---|
| The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest | September 25, 2026 |
| Ragini 3 | 2026 — announced |
| V. Shantaram | 2027 — under production |
| Ranger | 2027 — under production |
Tamannaah also appeared in O' Romeo, which released on February 13, 2026, so it should not be described as an upcoming movie anymore.
What movies will Sidharth Malhotra star in in 2026?
Sidharth Malhotra's confirmed 2026 theatrical film on the currently available filmography listings is The Vvaan, releasing September 25. His previously released Param Sundari belongs to 2025, while projects such as Race 4 and Mitti have had changing or unclear release information.
For that reason, it would be misleading to present every title appearing on older “upcoming movies” lists as a confirmed 2026 release.
What is the meaning of “Vvaan”?
The film's title is officially styled as The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest. The promotional material connects the film to folklore, forests and the Van Devi mythology, but the filmmakers have not provided a widely documented official explanation establishing a separate dictionary meaning for “Vvaan.”
