How has your opinion on film festivals changed? — discussion 0580

I have been comparing different approaches to film festivals and would like to hear how others think about the trade-offs. Are there any low-cost ways to get started? Please share specific examples, trade-offs, or useful resources rather than personal information.

It helps to compare the total cost and the time involved, not just the headline benefit. For this discussion, I would focus on film festivals and compare real outcomes before deciding.

I think it depends on the person and the context. Could you share what you are trying to achieve? For this discussion, I would focus on film festivals and compare real outcomes before deciding.

I would compare two or three options using the same criteria, then keep notes on the outcome. For this discussion, I would focus on film festivals and compare real outcomes before deciding.
