What Google’s Bengaluru Birthday Celebration Looked Like
Gazal Arora shared the video from Google’s Bengaluru workplace on Instagram, giving viewers a look at the arrangements made for the company’s 28th birthday.

One of the standout displays was a large three-tier decorative cake featuring icons associated with different Google products.
Arora was also seen cutting another Google-themed birthday cake decorated with brightly coloured icing.
The visual setup transformed part of the office into a birthday venue rather than an everyday corporate cafeteria, giving employees a space to mark the company milestone together.
Google-Themed Cupcakes, Cookies and Cake Pops Fill the Menu
Food was a major part of the celebration shown in the video.
The spread reportedly included cupcakes topped with Google-logo decorations, Google-branded round cookies, cake pops, chocolate eclairs and vegan cotton candy. Dhokla and other savoury dishes were also part of the buffet. Hindustan Times
The video moves through several counters showing the themed food before Arora sits at a decorated dining table with a plate of items from the buffet.
She captioned the Instagram video simply as a celebration of Google’s 28th birthday. Hindustan Times
The footage is user-generated social-media content. Hindustan Times said it had contacted Arora for additional comments and noted that it had not independently verified all claims associated with the social-media post. Hindustan Times

Why Does Google Celebrate Its Birthday on September 27?
Google’s history has an unusual detail: even the company acknowledges that its exact “birthday” is open to interpretation.
Google Inc. was officially incorporated on September 4, 1998, but the company has celebrated its birthday on September 27 for more than a decade, often marking the occasion with a special Google Doodle. blog.google
Google traces its beginnings to Stanford University, where Larry Page and Sergey Brin met in 1995.
The pair developed a search engine initially called Backrub, which analysed links to assess the importance of web pages. It was later renamed Google, a name inspired by “googol,” the mathematical term for the number represented by 1 followed by 100 zeros.
An early investment of $100,000 from Sun Microsystems co-founder Andy Bechtolsheim helped establish Google Inc. in 1998.
From a garage in California, Google subsequently expanded into a global technology company spanning search, advertising, Android, YouTube, cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
